1. Services Provided
We offer in-person computer and device repairs, software support, and general technical assistance to individuals, and businesses. Our services include diagnostics, hardware and software repairs, software installation, and performance optimization.
2. Bookings
Service appointments can be scheduled via calling using the phone number on the website, emailing or via social media. You will receive a confirmation once your booking is accepted.
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments.
3. Payments
Payments can be made:
- Online through a secure payment link
- In person (cash or card)
- By Bank Transfer
- Payments must be made within 14 days of the invoice being received
4. Liability and Data Disclaimer
We take great care in handling your devices, but you are solely responsible for backing up your data prior to any service.
We are not liable for:
- Data loss or corruption
- Loss of software licenses
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from our services
- If required, we offer data backup services at an additional cost
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are expected to:
- Provide accurate information regarding device issues
- Ensure devices are not password protected or provide necessary access details
- Collect devices within 14 days of service completion
6. Cancellations
- We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
7. Privacy
- We collect and use customer data solely to provide our services and manage appointments. Bookings made through our website are handled securely using third-party platforms compliant with GDPR.
8. Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8. Repair Guarantee
- All hardware repairs completed by JS Computer & Device Help are covered by a 60 day service guarantee. This means in case of failure of the original fault or replaced component. We will cover replacement hardware and time taken to fix the issue.
Please note that this guarantee applies only to the specific repair work carried out and does not cover
- new or unrelated faults that developed after the repair
- damage caused by misuse, accidental damage or third party interference
- software issues resulting from user changes or external updates
